VLC 1.0.0 is out.

Looks as if I'm the only one in the world getting a random error, and
completely unable to run it... weird shit, man.

I only use this when VLC 0.8.6 won't play what I need it to. The
position control in recent versions is fucked. I refuse to hover over
the position bar to change the position - that's what the mouse wheel
is for, NOT THE FUCKING VOLUME! I can't believe they took out the nice
smooth control of 0.8.6. Fucking bastards.

haven't checked out any of the new features yet.

In my experience, VLC for Mac has always trumped the Windows version... it
even looks different.

I haven't grabbed the new version yet, but I've experienced about
